In the Recycle Sin Bin

The headline of the latest issue of the Loughborough Echo tells us how some local residents in the Graicedieu area of the town have been told that they have not been properly sorting their rubbish.

Was it right for the council to refuse to take their bags away??? Or should the lazy residents get their act together?

Loughborough Echo

I'm a former Loughborough resident that searched for the Loughborough Echo on the web and came up with nothing - no website or homepage. No Carillion, no John Storer House, Market or Fair, no sock man. Absolutely nothing about our market town of Loughborough at all. Not even anything about Loughborough University.

I therefore thought that it would be nice to set up a website where people who live in Loughborough, and who are searching for facts or figures on Loughborough, or the Loughborough Echo newspaper can come and read about Loughborough, Leicestershire. Not about Leicester, or Leicester University, but about Loughborough and Loughborough University.

We'll take a look at stories in the Loughborough Echo related to Loughborough University, related issues with the county of Leicestershire or the City of Leicester and the whole area of Charnwood. We can talk about Beacon Hill or the Outwoods. We can get more serious and talk about Loughborough Grammar School or Burleigh.
